Epson Powerlite Review 2017 – Read This BEFORE You Buy

Epson has produced topnotch projectors for years. Among them are the Powerlite series. As opposed to other Epson lines, the powerlite series is geared towards the professionals. The projectors that are being discussed below are part of the Powerlite series. Their advantages, as well as their cons, will be discussed here.

The Epson Powerlite Pro Cinema 800 claim to fame is its excellent reproduction of images. Its saturation is superb and the colors being projected  are very much of high quality. Epson has stated that the Epson Powerlite Pro Cinema 800 has a sort of AI (Artificial Intelligence) to enhance the viewing experience. This is actually smart processing of frame by frame action. This ensures that actions being portrayed is smooth and pleasant to behold.

The Epson Powerlite Pro Cinema 800’s  performance in handling the color black is also slightly better than average. The relatively high contrast ratio and the Auto Iris helps in this regard. Better production of the color black being projected on screen means that the images will not be fuzzy and the colors (especially the color black) are delineated properly. This leads to a better viewing experience for the audience.

The Epson Powerlite Pro Cinema 800 is also adequately bright. Although the 1,600 lumens rating may not be that bright if juxtaposed to other projectors, the Epson Powerlite Pro Cinema 800 can successfully combat ambient lighting. Although care is needed so that none of the light sources in the vicinity will directly hit the projected area of the Pro Cinema 800.
