Will this be viewable in an outdoor environment during the daytime?

The issue here really isn’t the screen; your answer really depends on two things:

  • your projector,
  • which side of the canvas you will be projecting on. The higher the lumens of your projector, the better you will be able to see it – and you will be able to see it fine in sunlight. Projecting onto the canvas from behind is going to cut the brightness in half versus projecting from the front. So, my recommendation is to project from up front with a projector that has 1000+ lumens.

If you put it in a darker space during the day you could be fine. If you try to watch during the day and on a sunny day it could be impossible, we recommend using it once the sun goes down.
